BGAN SDR INTERFACE PROTOTYPE

A custom project for GateHouse A/S resulting in a demonstration system, interfacing the Spectrum flexcomm™ SDR system running GateHouse's BGAN waveform to a SpaceCom antenna system.  

The project was started with a system design in cooperation with GateHouse, and the system was designed and primarily built from existing and ready available equipment in order to meet the tight deadlines. The block diagram is shown below.

However the IF filters necessary to meet the BGAN system requirements had to be designed to specification. SatLinQ Technology was able to prototype LC filters meeting the requirements within days. The TX IF filter response is shown below.
